Homemade Curd Shorba Recipe

Wholesome curd kadhi transformed into a light and refreshing soup.

Cooking Time and Serve Estimate for Curd Shorba Recipe

Cooking Time : 10 minutes.

Serves 6.

Ingredients for making Curd Shorba Recipe

2 teacups fresh curds
2 teaspoons gram flour (besan)
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 onion, chopped (optional)
2 green chillies, chopped
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
2 tablespoons chopped tomato
a pinch turmeric powder
2 tablespoons chopped cucumber
2 tablespoons ghee
salt to taste

For garnishing

1 tablespoon chopped coriander

Method for preparing Curd Shorba Recipe

1. Beat the curds, gram flour and milk.

2. Heat the ghee and fry the cumin seeds until they begin to crackle. Add the onion, green chillies and ginger and fry again for a few seconds.

3. Add the curd mixture, turmeric powder and salt.

4. Add the tomato and cucumber and give one boil.

5. Sprinkle coriander on top and serve hot.
