Date and Nut Slices Recipe is a rich and delicious treat.

Ingredients for making Date and Nut Slices Recipe

1 teaspoon butter
1 tablespoon condensed milk
3/4 cup black seedless dates, chopped
3/4 cup mixed dried fruits, chopped
5 to 8 strands saffron
a pinch cardamom powder
1 tablespoon icing sugar

Method to proceed to prepare Date and Nut Slices Recipe

1. You can take walnuts, almonds, raisins, pistachios, cashewnuts as mixed dry fruits.

2. Heat the butter in an open pan, add the condensed milk and dates and cook for 3 minutes on medium heat.

3. Remove from the fire, add the dry fruits, saffron and cardamom powder. Mix well. Shape into a roll.

4. Sprinkle icing sugar on a piece of greaseproof paper. Place the dry fruit roll on it and roll tightly into a cylindrical shape.

5. Put to set in the refrigerator.

6. Cut into thick slices and serve.
